The owner of the house wanted to build a multi- purpose dock and lift that would provide recreational access to the Sea of Abaco. In addition, a structure was needed that would withstand storm surges and meet the Army Corps of Engineer guidelines which protect seagrasses.

Fibergrate was able to meet all of the owner’s expectations with the EcoGrate molded grating product using the Corvex resin system with aqua grit top surface, which is barefoot friendly. FRP's natural resilience against corrosion will help protect the owner's investment for years to come. Ecograte also complies with the Army Corps of Engineer guidelines of light penetration for seagrasses. This project generated quite a bit of interest around the community for its aesthetics and its unique appearance involving the NO-Profile lift, which conceals all the unsightly mechanical of boat lifts underneath the barefoot traffic.
